Before We Burn It Down...
Why most men aren’t prepared for what they say they want — and what we have to build first.

We’re Not Ready for Revolution — Not Yet
This whole thing started with a reel I posted — calling out some of the big problems with our government.
The kind of shit almost anyone can agree on, no matter where they land politically.
Corporate lobbying. Lifelong politicians making millions. Zero accountability.
The comment section absolutely blew up.
But the most common response wasn’t disagreement.
It was this:
“Okay… but how do we fix it?”
And what a lot of people jumped to next was this:
“We need a revolution.”
So I sat with that.
Because at first — yeah, it sounds bold. Noble. Masculine. And honestly, I think at its core, that is where it eventually goes — the cycle of civilizations. But most men today haven’t sat with what that really means, or what it demands.
That’s the real problem.
If you want to change the world, start by changing your world.
Start by becoming a man who can operate independently of the system.
That’s what this is really about.
Not fantasy. Not false flags. Real hard-won freedom — starting from the inside out.
It starts with us as men.
Then our families.
Then our communities.
Life This Past Week
I’m writing this on my Monday morning walk, December 22nd.
It’s foggy as hell in East Texas. Drizzling. Dense. By the time I get back, I’ll be soaked — and my phone might not survive the walk. But this is my recovery week from training and jiu-jitsu, so I’m leaning into rest. Stretching. Walking. Resetting for the holiday season... and for the arrival of our first child.
Still no baby.
We thought this weekend might be it, but nope. We had a doctor’s appointment Friday — everything’s progressing. My gut says Christmas Day.
We’ve got an induction date set for the 29th, but we’re not going to force that. We want to make sure the baby gets to choose its arrival, so we’ll wait as long as we possibly can. Maybe it’s the last real choice this kid gets before the world starts imposing timelines on everything else.
My parents are here, and I’m so grateful they’re here for this. They’ll be with us through the birth — and our child will be surrounded by love from day one.
Forged 2.0 kicked off this week.
We started with six men — one dropped early, and that opened the door for a guy I’ve known from back home in Cleveland. Perfect timing.
Now we’re five — and these five are dialed in. Consistent. Focused. Showing up for each other. That’s the energy that builds real change.
Forged 1.0 is still rolling hard.
Started with 13. Now we’re at 12 — only one man has dropped. That’s not drop-off. That’s retention. That’s men committing, showing up, and doing the work week after week. There’s real value in that, and it’s showing.
I’m also working with a one-on-one client right now — separate from Forged.
And what I’ve seen in that man over the past months has been nothing short of incredible. As a leader. As a husband. As a father. Physically, mentally, spiritually — this guy is rising. That’s the kind of transformation I want for more men.
Content-wise, the machine keeps moving.
I’m monetizing my Facebook content. I’m about to cross 41k on Instagram. I’ve got a call with a beard product company about a potential sponsorship. And one of my favorite creators, JP Sears, reacted to one of my reels on YouTube — north of 200,000 views.
But here’s the truth:
I’ve been at this since 2023. I’ve started. I’ve stopped. I’ve quit. I’ve come back.
So if you’re a man out there with a message — don’t stop. If it matters to you, keep fucking going.
It might take a year. It might take five. Who cares. The point is — keep showing up.
And don’t think the hate won’t come. The DMs. The threats. The bullshit.
A friend asked me this week if I carry because of the stuff I post. The answer is yes.
But fear is exactly why we’re here.
And I refuse to bow to it.
Revolution, Fear, and What Actually Matters
In 2024, corporations spent $4.5 billion on lobbying.
They employed 13,000 lobbyists — all working to influence 535 voting members of Congress.
We vote these people in. But who really owns their attention?
They act like enemies on TV and in the media, but they eat from the same fucking table behind closed doors.
They work for the same corporations. They’re taking the money.
Don’t let them fool you.
So people see it. They feel it. And they say:
“We need to rise up.”
And I get it — at least emotionally.
They’re picturing The Patriot — Mel Gibson charging across a field with the flag, rallying the men.
It gives you a freedom boner. I get it. Me too.
But sit with it for a minute and think bigger than emotion.
We Want Revolution… But We’re Not Ready
Think about this realistically:
Not romantic. Not dramatic. Real.
Tens of millions would die — not from combat, but from total collapse.
From starvation. From disease.
From being so deeply tied to a system they say they want to destroy — but can’t survive without.
That’s not fear talking. That’s not cowardice. That’s clarity.
We’ve been locked indoors. Sat in front of screens.
We’ve allowed ourselves to become dependent. Comfortable. Soft.
And I’m not above it either.
I’ve always wanted to hunt — yet never made the time.
I can fish. I dabble in gardening. I have water filtration. I’m better off than most.
But am I truly ready? No.
I could probably figure it out. But right now? I’m still not where I need to be.
And when I really sat with that — I thought: fuck.
If I’m not fully ready…
How many people in this country are?
The answer: almost none.
And here’s the thing — I do believe it eventually comes to revolution.
History shows us the cycle: hard times, strong men; good times, weak men; and back again.
Every empire falls. Every system eventually breaks. At some point, the people rise.
But the problem isn’t if it happens — the problem is that most men haven’t actually sat with the cost.
They haven’t pictured what life looks like the day after.
They haven’t built the foundation to carry their families through the fire.
So before we ever get to that point — we need to rebuild ourselves.
Because we are nowhere near ready for what that would really demand.
The Real Revolution Starts With You
Because what’s the point of overthrowing a system you’re still dependent on?
What’s the plan after the chaos?
This is the deeper problem — we want change, but we’re not strong enough to rebuild.
We are the foundation.
We have to be strong before we tear the fucking house down.
And the system knows this.
That’s why they demonize independence.
Homeschoolers are “weird.”
Homesteaders are “crazy.”
Entrepreneurs are “reckless.”
Psychedelics are “dangerous.”
Hippies were mocked — not because they were wrong, but because they were happy. Because they were free.
And that’s the real threat.
We don’t need violence.
Not yet.
We need men who no longer need the system.
That’s the most dangerous thing we can be.
My buddy Jordan — that man is the model.
He can raise animals. Build shit. Fix machinery. Train with firearms.
He even barters — trading goods and services instead of relying solely on cash.
That’s real freedom.
We need more men like that.
And we build that not by screaming online — but by building offline.
That’s why I do what I do.
My part is helping men get healthy.
Others are teaching how to garden.
Others are teaching how to hunt.
Others are teaching how to trade, barter, and survive.
We all have a role to play.
Call to Action
Most of us weren’t born to change the world.
But every one of us was born to change our world.
Start there.
Get your health in check.
Stop numbing.
Train your body.
Train your mind.
Get informed.
Learn the Constitution. Study your rights.
Learn how to fight.
Learn how to shoot.
Learn how to survive.
Learn how to lead.
Be the man your family can count on — no matter what happens.
Because patriotism isn’t loyalty to a government.
It’s loyalty to independence.
To sovereignty.
To the values that made this land worth fighting for in the first place
As always, thanks for reading,
Kyle
Song of the Week: “Red Right Hand” — Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Yeah, it’s the theme song to Peaky Blinders, and yeah, it sounds cool — but it also means something. The title comes from Paradise Lost, where the “red right hand” is this force of judgment — power that isn’t afraid to act.
It’s gritty, haunting, masculine. It’s not about empty rebellion. It’s about what happens when real power shows up.
And that’s the whole theme this week: don’t just talk revolution — understand the weight of what it really means. Power without grounding is chaos. So train. Prepare. Think. Be the man who doesn’t just react, but knows exactly what he’s doing.
